About the event

In this one-hour workshop you will become more acquainted with your vocal power source and unique breath pattern; and get playful, using your imagination and intentional thought to explore vocal qualities that express who you truly are!

Things to note about this workshop:

Safe Space: Maintaining a safe space is the highest priority. Anyone speaking or acting in a way that is hateful or harmful will be removed from the workshop immediately. You are invited to participate in this workshop in whatever way is comfortable for you. You may mute or go off camera at anytime in order to explore an idea privately. If opportunities to share in breakout rooms are offered, you may decline if you wish.

Fun and Play: This workshop will be fun! I will invite you to be silly and return to a state of child-like curiosity and play. This type of safe risk-taking and community building can be extrememly rewarding!

What you will need:

-A device to join the ZOOM meeting - laptop or desktop computer is recommended for the larger screen and ability to be hands free.

-External speakers or wireless headphones so you can be active while listening and following along.

-A quiet, safe space where you will feel comfortable moving your body and speaking out loud (ideally you will have enough space to walk around and lie down on the floor fully stretched out, though this workshop can also be experienced in a seated position.)

-A voice memo/recording device or app.

-A notebook and pen.
